Sunday, 24 July 2011

Brits keep putting off repair jobs that need doing to their vehicles, it has been claimed.

This is according to research from Kwik Fit, which revealed that one in seven car insurance policyholders have not taken their automobile into a mechanics to be fixed in order to save money.

Furthermore, its report revealed that a third of Brits who have put off jobs in the past six months have ended up paying out more cash than it would have originally cost them.

David White, customer services director of Kwik Fit, said: "For those who are going to be setting out in the car on their summer holidays, those neglected jobs could turn a relaxing break into a stressful and expensive time.”

Recently, revealed that more than 750,000 car insurance customers have admitted that they will be skipping their vehicles' annual service in order to save money which could put themselves, passengers and other motorists in danger on the UK's roads.
