The number of people searching for cheap vehicle insurance for Citroen models may increase this month with the release of the C3 Picasso.

Available to purchase from April 9th, the car is likely to appeal to individual thinkers, the manufacturer claimed - describing it as spacious, bold in design and functional.

Buyers will have the choice of two petrol engines - developed in partnership with BMW - and two diesel engines that Citroen claimed offer low emissions, exceptional refinement and excellent efficiency.

Customers keen to improve their green credentials further will also find certain editions of the vehicle are offered with Michelin Energy Saver tyres.

Xavier Duchemin, managing director at Citroen UK, said: "The C3 Picasso isn't just to be driven - it's designed to be used and become part of the family."
