Finding the best car insurance policy can be tough, but it seems drivers have difficult decisions to make before they even get to that stage. New-car buyers are faced with too much choice and are confused about what vehicle to go for, according to research by Glass's Guide. Nearly a third say they find the number of new models on offer "overwhelming", while a quarter reveal that the choice of products leaves them "confused". And even when they had narrowed down their options and decided which models to test drive, more than half found they could not get a real feel for the car as dealers did not have them in showrooms. Over the past two years some 128 new model lines were launched, with a further 40 expected this year, explained Jason King, head of marketing intelligence at Glass's. This huge range of options makes it even more important to take time to consider cheap car insurance. Posted by Claire Carter © Adfero Ltd
