Travel insurance: Holidaymakers should be responsible

Those planning to take a break from Britain this year should do so in a responsible fashion, it has been claimed.
John Faithfull, the product manager for Tripps Worldwide, said that ethical and responsible travellers can cut down on use green fuels and eat locally sourced produce.
"There are all kinds of ways you can be ethical. It depends what you are looking to get out of your trip as to how you travel," said Mr Faithfull.
Those wishing to be financially responsible may see a travel insurance policy as a key part of their planning.
He added that many hotels offer an ethical or responsible section on their websites informing the traveller the chance to peruse their credentials.
Figures from the Office of National Statistics revealed that the number of Britons heading abroad rose by two per cent in the year leading up to June 2007, many of whom would have had travel insurance,
