Car insurance: Fiat 500 voted 'sexiest car'

Car insurance customers who are thinking about replacing their current vehicle may be interested to hear the Fiat 500 has been voted the sexiest motor of 2008.

Readers of women's motoring website evecars.com voted the car into top spot, with the Jaguar XF coming in second and the Mini Clubman clinching third place.

Commenting on the popularity of the first-placed model, Alex Jenner-Furst, editor of evecars.com, said: "The Fiat 500 is a great-looking supermini inside and out and is perfect for a city shopping trip, a weekend in the country or doing the school run in style."

She added that, with a price tag of just over £8,000, the car was good value for money as well.

Elsewhere, motor insurance customers may be interested to hear Citroen is due to unveil a concept coupe during October's Paris Motor Show.

The Hypnos has been described by the manufacturer as an "exceptional" and "elegant" cross-over vehicle.
