Car insurance: Fiat 500C 'good for city driving'

Thursday, 16 July 2009

Motor insurance policyholders worried about manoeuvring into tight spots and zipping through busy city streets may want to check out the new Fiat 500C.

The auto is a convertible version of the Fiat 500 and was recently tested out by supermodel and businesswoman Elle Macpherson.

She turned out to be a fan of the car's handling and its small turning circle, which makes it "perfect for cities", she said.

"I love the Fiat 500C - it has that sexy, cool Italian thing going on," Macpherson added.

Prices for the supermini start at £11,300 on the road and the motor has been available in UK showrooms since earlier this month.

According to the manufacturer, the cost represents "superb value" for those who like to get around in a soft-top vehicle.

Meanwhile, the new Fiat Qubo was the focus of a recent party to promote the auto.

Taking place at Home House in London, it was attended by celebrities such as Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts and singer-songwriter James Morrison.
