Car insurance: Don't get into cars with Gabriel
Monday, 13 November 2006
A new report has revealed which people in the UK have the worst names when it comes to causing car crashes.
Insurance company esure studied statistics for UK road accidents and found that the male drivers to avoid are any named Gabriel, Sebastian or Kyle.
For the females it is people called Natasha, Ruby, Eve or Harriet who are best left uncontacted for lifts.
Recommended for a safe trip are the likes of Molly and Elliott while only nine per cent of all Alicias have crashes.
However it is unlikely that names will ever be taken into account when companies create cheap car insurance policies.
Mike Pickard from esure said: "There are other factors involved in assessing accident rates - like personalities, age or how fast people drive."
Suncorp Metway, a US insurance firm, found that Geminis are the worst drivers of the zodiac because they are restless and frustrated by things moving slowly.
