Travel insurance policyholders may want to take note that Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been named the Best Airport.

The travel hub continued its winning streak, netting the TTG Travel Award for the eighth year in a row.

Stanley Hui Hon-chung, chief executive officer of the Airport Authority Hong Kong, said HKIA would continue to grow, further enhancing its "service and facilities to ensure that passengers have the best possible travel experience".

More than ten awards related to airport facilities and services have been netted by HKIA this year alone. It has been recognised on both a national and international level.

Recently, revealed 25 per cent of Brits were not concerned when they lost their passport while abroad.

Some 60,000 Brits who had reported their passports lost or stolen between March 2009 and April 2010 were polled for the survey.

Less than half (45 per cent) of those surveyed took a photocopy of their passport away with them and only three per cent knew their passport number.
