Hyundai hands out awards

Sunday, 21 October 2012

Hyundai has reported that it has been handing out awards to some of its successful apprentices.

The company runs a training scheme that has a duration of three years and includes 29 participants at present.

The organisation's aftersales director, Nick Tunnell, has said that its awards are about marking trainees' efforts, as well as promoting high standards among future technicians.

"As our business grows, so do the demands of our customers and it is imperative that we develop the skills, knowledge and pride of our dealer network from the ground up," he said, in words that car insurance holders may well welcome.

The awards were handed out last week, on October 5th – the sixth time that such awards have been given by the company behind the likes of the Santa Fe and the Veloster cars.

The third year winners were Charlie Marris (who received the Best Apprentice award) and Toby Bishop (when it came to the Most Improved Apprentice category).
