Rock legend Iggy Pop is back and he has brought a little friend with him for the latest advertising campaign from Swiftcover.
Little Iggy, the star's alter-ego, will accompany him in our latest series of TV, radio and billboard adverts, causing chaos, aggravation and more for the singer.
The £30 million Get a Life campaign will show our
car insurance customers that buying cover is a simple process when purchased with the right firm.
According to Tina Shortle, our marketing manager, Little Iggy will add a new dimension to the popular campaign.
"The introduction of Little Iggy allowed Iggy to play against type and become the chilled-out, golf-playing rock star whilst Little Iggy causes havoc," she added.
Ms Shortle pointed out that while buying car insurance may not be the most exciting process in the world, it does not mean that adverts have to be dull and uninspiring.
It has been a marriage made in heaven so far, as we've seen customers flocking in by a third since the launch of the campaign.
