ING Car Lease reduces motor insurance claims for crashes by 60%

Thursday, 28 April 2011

Motor insurance customers may be interested to know that ING Car Lease has been enrolled into the Driving for Better Business campaign run by RoadSafe.

This was after the company was named a business champion following its implementation of a risk assist strategy, which has seen crash costs per driver at the firm reduce by more than 60 per cent.

Furthermore, by demonstrating to customers and new employee's driver safety tips and habits, the organisation claims that its approach is to lead by example.

Ian Tilbrook, managing director at ING Car Lease, said: "We are delighted that the initiatives we have implemented have triggered the results they have and in turn that the company's approach has gained business champion status from the Driving for Better Business campaign."

Recently, Adrian Walsh, a director at RoadSafe, said that motorists should consider re-reading the Highway Code to keep themselves and others safe while on the road and to stay within the law.
