Car insurance: XF drivers 'experience best sound on the road'

Tuesday, 05 August 2008

Motorists who travel in a Jaguar XF have been found to benefit from the best in-car audio system, although this may compromise their car insurance policies.

Travelling with the volume turned up high could cause drivers to be easily distracted and become involved in accidents which may invalidate a cover deal.

What Hi Fi? Sound and Vision's Ultimate Guide to High End Entertainment commented that the Bowers & Wilkins system in XF models beats the alternatives offered in Lexus, Audi and Volkswagen vehicles.

Indeed, editor of the publication Andy Kerr stated that it has "huge appeal" to motorists.

He said: "Its sound quality is terrific and just as importantly, it's sensibly priced, meaning more drivers will choose to specify it."

This comes a month after Tata Motors - the Indian-based firm which acquired Jaguar earlier this year - unveiled the 2009 XF.
