Tuesday, 14 November 2006

Do you fancy getting your hands on some new wheels while making the world a better place.

If so, then tune in to Children in Need on Friday night because the annual charity extravaganza is giving away a Porsche Boxster to one lucky viewer in exchange for just one penny.

Mobile phone users just need to donate a penny using PayPal mobile in order to apply for the prize draw and all the proceeds go towards various children's projects around the UK and world.

Roy Vella, head of mobile payments at PayPal, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer a Porsche for a Penny whilst donating all the money we receive to BBC Children in Need.

"We have raised over £1,600 so far and hope that this figure will soar in the run up to Friday's Appeal Night."

Of course if you win the car at such a snip of a price then don't forget to buy your obligatory cheap car insurance before speeding off into the distance.

Porsche Boxster's retail at around £33,000 in the UK.
