The Nissan Qashqai+2 has been given the title of MPV of the Year by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers (ASMW), motor insurance customers may like to hear. ASMW president Bill Caven said the Qashqai+2 was a "real success" and performs superbly all round. "Demand has never been greater and it is easy to understand why it is proving so popular," he added. Nissan highlighted the fact that the Qashqai range has sold over a quarter of a million units since its launch in March of last year, as it combines an attractive design with practicality. There are three trim levels to choose from as well as a 2.0-litre petrol or diesel version. Engine options are often something to consider when thinking about how much a motor insurance policy will cost, as companies often increase prices to match the risk presented by the power of the car.
