Peugeot's Bipper has been awarded the 2009 International Van of the Year at the Commercial Vehicles Show in Hannover. The jury praised the vehicle's original concept and suitability as an entry level model offering strong opportunities for securing affordable car insurance. Judges were also impressed by the vehicle's stylish appearance, alongside its practicality, handling and ability to meet the needs of its intended audience, car insurance customers might be interested to hear.The Bipper delivers low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions which can enable owners to secure competitive quotes on motor insurance. Moreover, an electronically controlled manual gearbox and agile road holding proved enough to secure the Bipper this prestigious award. This is the second year that French manufacturer Peugeot has scooped the award as its Expert vehicle is the current van of the year.Peugeot is also due to launch a new range of colours for the 207 Van, including flamenco red, aluminum, Montebello blue and Onyx black.
