Car insurance: Prime parking spot found
Tuesday, 21 November 2006
The verdict is finally in and the best car parking space in the whole of Britain has been found.
Self-styles car park appreciator Kevin Beresford from Redditch has spent months trawling around the nation's car parks and thinks he has found the perfect spot in Birmingham.
The Mailbox car park boasts good lighting, a big enough size for a 4x4 vehicle, cleanliness and good access to lifts. It costs £2 an hour to stash your motor there.
Mr Beresford said: "This is the finest space of all. Its lighting is both subtle and direct - like a disco - you are near facilities and it's big enough to park a 4x4 easily."
The Mailbox even has background music, making it more like a nightclub than a car park.
He said the worst facilities are in London while there is a great one in Leeds which even has its own restaurant.
Car insurance adds that extra layer of protection when leaving your car in a deserted car park.
