Car insurance: Fresh work on Grane Road

New safety work is set to be carried out on the Grane Road in Lancashire after officials stated that previous attempts to improve the highway have not been successful, news that may interest those with car insurance premiums.
Road bosses revealed that the stretch between Blackburn and Haslingden will be closed for three weeks in an effort to reduce accidents, reports This is Lancashire.
Mark Hornby, county highways officer, noted that it is worrying problems continue to be seen on the road, in light of past schemes.
"Grane Road continues to cause concern. It would appear measures we have taken have not reduced personal injury accidents there," he commented to the paper.
New signs and road markings are to be included as part of the £300,000 initiative that ought to be completed by the end of the summer.
