Car insurance: Seat offer may help drivers protect cheap cover
Saturday, 03 October 2009
Motorists who do not want to jeopardise their cheap car insurance premiums may want to take Seat up on its latest deal.
The manufacturer has announced it is offering drivers of all makes and model of auto free tyre checks throughout October.
Technicians will examine pressure and tread depth to ensure these important vehicle parts are safe and legal.
In addition, the mechanics are also offering a complimentary 32-point motor health check for people concerned about how their autos will cope this winter.
Head of aftersales at Seat Nigel Griggs said: "The simple fact is cars have just four points of contact with the road - their tyres - and, obviously, these need to be in tip-top condition."
The company's offer coincides with National Tyre Safety Month.
In September, the Institute of Advanced Motorists suggested drivers who do not ensure their autos offer enough grip may end up having to make a car insurance claim.
