Car insurance: New Aygo "small but perfectly formed"

Monday, 02 February 2009

As the recession tightens its grip on the UK, drivers looking to downsize in a bid to cut motor insurance costs may be tempted by the latest Toyota Aygo.

The manufacturer described the updated model as "small but perfectly formed".

It stated: "The factors that have made the Aygo a winner have been further sharpened to make it an even stronger proposition."

The revised range features two new models with exclusive equipment specifications – the Aygo Black and Aygo Blue.

According to Toyota, the first of these additions concentrates on style, while the second focuses on comfort and convenience.

Drivers who choose the Aygo Black will receive Alcantara and leather upholstery, along with 14-inch alloy wheels, as standard.

Meanwhile, those who opt for the Aygo Blue will find their car features air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity.

The model's relatively small engine size may mean motorists downsizing will qualify for cheap car insurance.
