It is of crucial importance that
car insurance customers keep their tyres inflated at their optimum level and Renault and Michelin have come together with a new offer to help motorists do this.
Drivers who purchase two Michelin fuel-efficient tyres from their Renault dealer in May and June will receive a free digital pressure gauge worth GBP15.
The two firms claim that ensuring tyres are inflated correctly will reduce CO2 emissions, extend the life of the tyres, improve fuel economy and also boost safety, which in turn could have an impact on car insurance costs.
Roger Loderick, product manager - service, wear and tear, tyres, oil at Renault, said the offer will prove appealing for many drivers who are looking to reduce the cost of owning and running a vehicle.
