Motor insurance: swiftcover.com tops Which? 'Best Buy' tables again

Respected consumer magazine - Which? - has found swiftcover.com to be one of the cheapest motor insurers in the UK, according to new research published in its April edition. It's the third year running that swiftcover.com has been named as a 'Best Buy' in the magazine's regular car insurance surveys.

The Which? team sought more than 2,693 online quotes and 2,796 phone quotes from across 57 insurers, to come up with their 'Best Buy' list. Categories included both low and high risk areas of the country and makes and models ranging from super-minis or small cars, to luxury models and even sports cars. Which? took a range of driver ages, experience and track records to make their findings as comprehensive as possible.

swiftcover.com came out as one of the top three online 'Best Buys' in every single category surveyed by Which?. And overall, the magazine found that a href=/carinsurance/ car insurence a quotes were considerably cheaper online than on the phone.

Tina Shortle, marketing director at swiftcover.com, says, "We aren't surprised to see that some people were able to save more than £300 a year on their insurance - after all, we've saved our customers more than £26 million in unnecessary premiums over the last 2.5 years."
