Motor insurance: Wiltshire road 'to get overhaul'

A local road in Wiltshire could see improved prospects after campaigners pulled together to study the situation.
Recently, residents met at Chapmanslade Village Hall to talk about the number of witnesses that have been witnessed on the A36 through the county, reports the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham Times.
Highways Agency official Rachel Whitlock stated that the organisation is to re-think its views and improve safety measures.
"We have to consider road schemes already operating in certain areas and we will have to wait for the work in Limpley Stoke to finish before the study is carried out," she told the news source.
Changes to white lines on the road could be made in the future on top of resurfacing work.
The Scottish Safety Camera Partnership recently claimed that drivers are more aware of safety issues in response to figures that said fines given out as a result of speeding caught on camera has decreased.
Drivers involved in accidents may find that their motor insurance premiums are negatively impacted upon.
