Car insurance: New Daihatsu model 'is eco-friendly'
Friday, 01 August 2008
Daihatsu's new limited edition vehicle has been described as an environmentally-friendly choice for motorists.
The Terios Kiri model, based on the original Terios 1.5 S, emits some 185g CO2 per km and is priced at only £90 more than its predecessor.
But the vehicle has been limited to 250 units, which may hinder motorists unable to snap up the model - coated in a unique metallic green paintjob - quick enough.
Car insurance customers could also be drawn to the model's five-spoke alloy wheels, its roof rails and its hard spare wheel cover.
"The award-winning Terios range has a high standard specification which includes air-conditioning, power-steering ... and full-time four-wheel drive with electronic centre diff-lock," Daihatsu remarked.
Daihatsu's new Materia family-sized model recently received a good review from the Times.
The newspaper remarked that the vehicle "pushes the parameters of standard car design".
