Car insurance: Nissan 350Z chosen as best sports car

Tuesday, 23 September 2008

While the car insurance quotes may be different, some drivers will always enjoy the thrill of a sports car and they may be interested in the Nissan 350Z, which has been picked out by the What Car? editorial team.

Designed to emulate the "legendary" 240Z from the 1970s, the modern 350Z was first launched in October 2003 and has picked up a number of awards while experiencing strong demand, the manufacturer claims.

Nissan adds that those buying a 350Z can have "peace of mind", knowing the car will retain a decent resale value after purchase.

Matt Sanger, used car editor of What Car?, said: "The 350Z is anything but subtle and is the modern epitome of old-school."

He added its aggressive styling and raucous exhaust note mean that it's a brilliant vehicle for sports car lovers.

Nissan notes the car can go from zero to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds.
