Car insurance: People Seeking Ford Car Insurance may have Risen

Tuesday, 07 July 2009

The number of people looking for car insurance for new Ford models may have risen last month, if recent figures are anything to go by.

Statistics from the manufacturer have revealed some 29,800 vehicles were sold in June, compared with 28,657 during the same time period in 2008.

The company put this success down to its current attractive line-up of models.

Managing director Nigel Sharp said: "To beat a fiercely competitive market in the tough economic climate we're in proves that customers see the new Ford vehicle range as an exciting opportunity not to be missed."

The group increased its market share from 13.7 per cent in June 2008 to 16.9 per cent last month.

As well as the appeal of its autos, Ford also acknowledged the scrappage scheme provided a boost to its sales figures.

Meanwhile, motorists who have bought a vehicle through the cash for bangers initiative in order to save money may find they can reduce their costs further by searching for the cheapest online car insurance available.
